The Hardin County Area Chamber of Commerce and Hardin County Schools have partnered to bring an exciting program to high school seniors.  Possessing and demonstrating strong work ethic is important in all we do.  This voluntary program has been designed to promote a great work ethic to the students and also present them some exciting opportunities upon successful completion of the Work Ethic Certification program.   Hardin County high school seniors who successfully complete all elements of the program will be eligible for the following:  Work Ethic certificate; special graduation cord recognizing achievement; opportunity for interview coaching and resume building; competitive advantage when entering the workforce; guaranteed job interview with participating business partners; key experience to be highlighted on college/job/military applications; and a Work Ethic scholarship opportunity.

 

Seniors enrolled in English 4 Part A may apply for the Work Ethic Certification Program. As a participant, they must demonstrate proficiency in eight standards in order to earn the certification. The certificate will serve as validation that students have successfully displayed strong work habits fostering success in higher education and the workplace.
